Experienced and Confidential Virtual Therapy from a Trusted Name in Michigan

What is Teletherapy?

Virtual therapy works much in the same way as traditional in-clinic therapy and counseling sessions. The big difference is that the participants are not in the same room. Virtual therapy is a way of conducting therapy and counseling and has many advantages.  This has been a growing trend and has become more popular in recent years during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virtual therapy can be used for many forms of counseling and includes:

  • Adult and Adult Ageing Teletherapy
  • Couples and Marriage Counseling
  • Child and Teen Teletherapy
  • Family Teletherapy and Relationship Counseling
  • Anxiety and Depression Counseling
  • Trauma and Grief Counseling
  • Divorce Care Counseling
  • Anger Management, OCD Counseling, and Other Emotional Counseling
  • …and Many More!

Using HIPAA-compliant and secure technology, a virtual therapy session can be conducted via video on your computer, smartphone, or tablet and even over the phone. Through our secure platform, you can interact with your clinician just as he/she would if it was an in-person session. Virtual therapy is becoming increasingly popular due to its convenience and our present circumstances, plus research has shown virtual therapy may be as effective as in-person therapy.

If you’d like to schedule an appointment for virtual therapy, contact CNLD Testing & Therapy at (734) 994-9466.

Is This Covered by My Insurance?

CNLD Testing & Therapy accepts most Blue Cross plans. These insurance plans will cover and treat teletherapy sessions in the same way as if you were in our office. Our office will work with you to verify your benefits.

Virtual Therapy and Younger Children. Does it work?

This depends on the particular goals and where your child is developmentally. When Virtual therapy is the only option, our therapists can partner with you to work on developing an approach that will be productive, engaging to your child, flexible, and help work on achieving your goals. In many cases, the work on behalf of young children may be largely working with the parents.

Are My Virtual Therapy Appointments Private?

At CNLD Testing & Therapy, we strive to provide privacy and confidentiality for all therapy services. Teletherapy sessions are scheduled just like regular therapy appointments. We will work with you to identify a time and location within your home or office that will allow for privacy. We will also help you with the technology to make it easy. Our secure teletherapy platform provides optimal protection, even if you can’t see your therapist in person.
