Dr. Brianne France-Ellis, Psy.D

Dr. France-Ellis earned her doctorate degree from Midwestern University in 2013 in Clinical Psychology.  She completed her internship and Post-doctoral Fellowship at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital in Illinois. During her time at Linden Oaks she was able to extend her knowledge of eating disorders and dual diagnosis. She expanded the self-injury program and was able to enhance the skills offered for individuals. In addition, Dr. France-Ellis was also able to provide comprehensive treatment and provide psychoeducation to adolescents and adults.  Dr. France-Ellis is extremely familiar with working with adolescents and managing treatment plans to effectively include parents but still allow adolescents to feel comfortable.  In addition, she was able to heighten her skills with OCD and other severe anxiety disorders while training at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. Dr. France-Ellis has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has training and expertise with a wide variety of disorders, specifically depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, and self-harm.

During her career she has worked in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, private practice, residential programs, community settings, and nursing homes. Dr. France-Ellis has experience completing assessment and evaluations in these settings. She has a broad and deep skill set for working with a variety of disorders. She has experience providing couples therapy and helping individuals gain better communication skills as well as effective ways to manage emotions.

Dr. France-Ellis has obtained knowledge in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, she has also intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and exposure therapy.  She believes it is important to apply techniques that will best fit the individual in treatment.  She also recognizes the importance of establishing rapport and trust in the therapeutic setting. Dr. France-Ellis works to allow individuals to reach their full potential and live a healthy and satisfying life.
