Heather Myers, LMSW
Heather Myers, LMSW, completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan, where she specialized in individual and couples therapy.
Ms. Myers received her training in adult psychotherapy at Michigan Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. Following this, she completed a two year fellowship at the University of Michigan Psychological Clinic, focusing on therapy with adults and couples.
In her practice, Ms. Myers works with adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, relationship issues, and adjustment to college and graduate school. She works with clients to facilitate self understanding, and develop skills for managing the challenges of major life transitions.
Ms. Myers works from a psychodynamic and family systems perspective, and integrates cognitive behavioral and mindfulness strategies. She has a particular interest in facilitating the development and enhancement of communication and relationship skills.
