GOOD NEWS! Testing in our clinic involved no blood draws, scans of any kind or shots. The examiner will sit across from the desk from the person being tested and a lot of the “work” is school-like: writing, drawing, doing stuff on the computer and memory questions, to name a few tasks. A lot of it is game-like, so the client usually has a pretty good time during the assessment. We’ve even had kids ask if they can come back again the next day because they had more fun here than they do at school! (sorry teachers …)
